my new baby
Sep. 1st, 2011 10:59 pm1. This car is male; stick-shift innuendo aside I just get that vibe.
2. Also he's a bit of a flirt/show-off.
3. And maybe kinda loud? Maybe it just sounds that way to me because I've always driven automatics but I feel like he runs louder than Laurien.
4. Also, baby looks good in red (click for fullsize, if you're so inclined):

Just like:

SO THERE.
So for Christmas, I want one of these. Because it would just be hilarious if Darren-the-car also had the eyebrows.
also, MIRACLES
Jul. 22nd, 2011 08:17 pmI was wearing my Pavarotti necklace:
I thought I'd lost it, and frankly, that would've been very upsetting. I bought this necklace just a few days after Cody left and it really means a lot to me.
And then, miracle of miracles, I realized something was poking me in the butt, and--sweet relief--there it was. I just fixed it, good as new.
OMFG DARREN FREAKING CRISS
Jul. 22nd, 2011 07:41 pmBut it was an amazing set, and Darren was exactly as humble/dapper/polite/charming/amazing/amazeballs/supermegafoxyawesomehot as he always seems to be--it's not fake. Someone (I'm presuming a girl =/) passed out during the concert and he stopped and was genuinely concerned, for her, and for everyone else (lecturing everyone to stay hydrated out there). And. Just. GUH.
How do you not just love a guy who walks out with his guitar and starts his set with a Disney song?
Okay. I'm putting the videos on YouTube first and foremost, and I'm sure I'll have more direct/coherent things to say there.
Also, this was why he wasn't signing autographs afterward, as far as I can tell (judging by the fact that it's empty):
And part of me thinks I should be kind of mad, but he just looks so darn adorable and excited--and I rode that roller coaster maybe half an hour before the concert and I don't blame him, it was awesome--that all I can really summon up is a mild irritation. Not getting an autograph just means I have a reason to see him in concert again. =) And. You know. Celebrities are people, too (scroll down to where he's answering the first letter, the bold text). Amazing as they are.
I'm a bit ridiculously starstruck right now, and I need the concert on my iPod ASAP. OFF TO DO TECHNICAL SORTS OF THINGYS NOW.Day 27: Favourite Chris photo.

This whole photoshoot (H magazine, evidently?) is beautiful, but--one, I'm a sucker for Chucks+suit, and two, he just looks simultaneously so badass and so happy here. Guh.
Day 28: Favourite Darren photo.
I cannot narrow it down to less than two. How can I explain?
This is the one that I use as album art for his songs in iTunes (that aren't really on an album--stuff I've yoinked from YouTube and such), and is also printed off and hanging over my desk:

And don't get me wrong, I love me some sweet, cute, innocent Darren.
But this is the one that I keep coming back to (and is currently my phone wallpaper):
I fixed this one so that you can click through for fullsize (the other two just are at fullsize), and you really...just should. Really. Really really.
30 Days of Klaine Day Nineteen
Jul. 8th, 2011 01:33 amI may have started writing a fanfic about this, actually. Erm.
The hairstyle that Blaine will have in season three. When he transfers to McKinley and is no longer required to conform to a dress code, and therefore spends his summer growing his hair out.

Oh yes. Beats the hell out of helmet hair.
(Also: this is more or less what I draw when I draw Blaine. The helmet hair is hard to draw.)
30 Days of Klaine Day Eighteen
Jul. 6th, 2011 11:44 pmOH, I GET IT. This meme is all about POSTING PICTURES. (I'm okay with this, and with my imageshack account getting filled with Klainey goodness.)

I like it combed this direction, it doesn't make him look younger than he is, like his original hairstyle did. And also it's not too tall here (I'm looking at you, Gershwin Theater Hair).
I'm also a fan of his Born This Way hair, but that's pretty obviously Performance Hair and not practical for everyday. (Not that Kurt's wardrobe is ever accurately described as "practical.")
And on a Glee note (no pun intended), this song is 99% true. The only thing he's got wrong is that the original songs were/are awesome.
30 Days of Klaine Day Seventeen
Jul. 6th, 2011 01:33 amAnother one where we would benefit from Blaine transferring already, because really I think we have all of four options here: Dalton uniform, Blame It On the Alcohol outfit, Night of Neglect outfit, and New York outfit. Oh, and his winter coat, whoo.
That being said:
Then again, what WOULDN'T look awesome next to Rachel's dress? XD
Day 14: Favourite Blaine screencap.

Nevermind how clumsily this episode handled bisexuality (I kinda see Kurt's point; bisexuality exists but it doesn't work like that, and I honestly think he was just too angry to articulate it properly--but it would've been nice to see him admit that later), I love it because we got DRUNK!BLAINE. Which is pretty much sober!Darren. XD
Day 15: Favourite Klaine screencap.

I know that there are so many more intimate/romantic moments later, but this is just...beautiful. It's the first moment where Kurt has some legitimate hope that it It Actually Does Get Better. (But Blainey, why are you holding his right hand with your right hand? It's a bit of an awkward pose for running, sweetheart.) And this pairing is all about hope and courage. =)
Day 16: Favourite Kurt outfit.

I know it's old, but...DUDE. I love that t-shirt.
(Least favorite: Some People! Those PANTS. OMG. Ew.)

Jul. 21st, 2009 04:06 pm2) NO CAPTIONS!!! It must be like we're speaking with images and we have to interpret your visual language just like we have to interpret your words.
3) They must ALREADY be on your hard drive - no googling or flickr! They have to have been saved to your folders sometime in the past. They must be something you've saved there because it resonated with you for some reason.
4) You do NOT have to answer any questions about any of your pictures if you don't want to. You can make them as mysterious as you like. Or you can explain them away as much as you like.
*I'll answer questions, probably. =)
( Obviously image-heavy. =P )

Now, the wedding date bit is not at all uncomfortable and to be expected at this point, lol--but the babies comment DOES create an incredibly uncomfortable moment. Cody and I actually had a friend-of-the-family tell us first that we looked like brother and sister (yeah, I think it's the eyes--and I imagine we'd get this even more often if I didn't flatiron, which is just more incentive to keep doing it) and then went on to say "Well, I guess you'll know what the babies will look like!" We both just kind of stood there until she changed the subject.
(And after the Hillary lol I feel the need to point out that yes, I know full well that the bit at the bottom should read "Compliments given to my girlfriend and me." I can't help it. That's how it was posted.)
