Reading Kimono's Townhouse has gotten both me and Kristy into the idea of customizing My Little Ponies (at the very least, I'd like to be there/help with hers), and MLP in general. We looked at the ones at Wal*Mart the other day, lol.
Wella month-ish ago the other day, when they hooked up my satellite, they moved boxes around and I organized the Room of Doom a little, and found my box'o'horses, which included my two MLPs!
I brought them to work this morning so Kristy could see them, then I went through this page and have identified them as Sea Breeze and Molasses. I think I knew Sea Breeze's name as a kid (I'm pretty sure I got her new, and I could read really young so I pored over the info packet that came with her), but Molasses came from a yard sale so I was never sure. I think I probably called her Ginger since her symbol is a gingerbread man.
Kristy's offered to clean them up--I took good care of my toys as a kid, I was never a Barbie-beheader or anything, but that darn hair was a bitch to keep smooth, and I can't help what happened to Molasses before I got her, so they're not exactly mint--and so I think we're going to do that. Practice for customizing for her, a photography project (a comic?) and clean toys for me. :D Yay memories!
