From the first page of the ASUMH calendar for 2005-06:

I didn't even know about this until they started passing out calendars at BCM and Becky was all, "You're in there! On the first page!" And sure enough, there it was!

For those who have never seen a pic of me before (which is, like, none of you, lol), I'm the one all the way on the right, in the jade-colored shirt. The redhead. If they'd picked a slightly different angle you'd be able to see my Elven Brooch. (I always wear it when I wear green so I KNOW I was wearing it that day. Oh well.) Ironically I was wearing that same shirt when I found out about the pic, lol...

That was taken at the beginning of the fall '04 semester, during "Fire It Up"--in which all student clubs have a table and try to recruit new members. Hey, free food, lol.

Ironically, the guy all the way on the left (yellow baseball cap guy) is Tim. Not the most flattering picture, I know. He's gone now. He came through the drive-through about a week and a half before shcool started and I asked when he was leaving, and he said, "Tomorrow." So. Yeah.

But anyway, that just made me laugh to no end.

Also--the ASUMH calendar starts in August and goes to July, rather than the traditional January-December format, so I'm on the August page. And being chosen as this month's Miss August is, like, a compliment I'll remember for as long as I can! --"'Cause I'm a Blond," Julie Brown

Nico knows that song I mentioned, so last night I told him the whole rambling story and then said, "Plus I'm on the August page, so I'm THIS MONTH'S MISS AUGUST!" He died laughing.

I'm thinking of getting another one and signing it with something like "To Nico, Love and huggles from This Month's Miss August, XOXOXO, Sarah" and giving it to him. XD
