Until the Stars Are All Alight

I'm like you. The more I think about the finale the more I realize I like it. Whoopi on the View seemed to find it a mixed bag and didn't understand the plug being pulled allowing the Smoke Monster to die. So as I explained that in my head, things sort of fell into place fore me. The light was what kept the two "boys" from harming each other directly and since the light brought the smoke monster into being it seems obvious that it would need to go out for Smokey to become mortal. And then, I flashed back to Juliet dying and remembered the coffee lines. It seems to me that basically whatever happens in the Waiting Room is in the blink of an eye before they die and that Waiting Room is a place out of time. That's how it all makes sense to me. And I love that the reason they need each other to move on and "let go" is because they meant the most to each other and their experience on the island defined their life.
