Sunday, October 5th, 5:30-ish PM, Cooper Park, Mountain Home, AR.

A little bit awkward since I didn't have a clue what I was doing, but amazing, and I had plenty of practice afterwards. I think I've got the hang of it now. ^_^

I don't regret waiting anymore. Twenty-two-and-a-half years is a long freaking time, but I'm actually in love with Cody and I know that he really feels special being the One and Only that my lips have touched. =) I know it didn't go to waste, Cody's going to be around for a good, long time. Quite probably forever, barring disaster.

Details! Okay! )

In other news, Hastings called and I went in today to "start paperwork," which means I had to go to the hospital and take a drug test. Ew. -_-* But whatever, she said that the results would likely be back Thursday, and if so I can probably start training on Monday. Yay!

From the WikiHow on How to Find Your Soulmate:

Be patient. Life doesn't normally work on the schedule you envision. Your soulmate might cross your path when you're 8 or 80 years old. Don't be surprised either if there is a considerable age difference between the two of you. Yes, you might look forward to spending the majority of your life with your soulmate--perhaps buying a house, getting married, starting a family--but things do not always go as you plan. Your soulmate will color your world no matter how old you are, so don't rush into things, or else you might end up forcing the wrong person into the soulmate box, which will cause pain for everyone involved.

And I would add, it's worth the wait.
