I somehow keep convincing myself that I'm quite steeled against the powers of a ghost story or "unsolved mysteries" (there are both on that site), especially if it's just in writing, without pics or video.
Then I end up sitting at the computer with the light turned back on, wrapped in a security blanket, checking over my shoulder every five minutes or so, no matter how loud the music is.
Maybe it's easier to handle in a book because I KNOW that's fiction, while stuff on the internet might be true? Or because if it's in a book, odds are I'm in bed I have something at my back?
