Sam (more, yeah)
Mar. 18th, 2008 02:02 amThe workday dragged. OMG. The next two are gonna suck.
Sam and I met up at Pizza Hut at 5:30, and OMG we're pizza compatible! He likes pepperoni, or just cheese, on thick crust, maaaaaybe mushrooms now and again. That NEVER happens. Seriously. (Okay, okay, trivial, but still. Made me happy.)
We spent two hours talking videogames, over dinner. (With some comic books thrown in now and again.) Geektastic. ^_^ I started raving about the Dreamcast, and he brought up Crazy Taxi, which I'd never played. Long story short, after dinner we went to his house to grab Crazy Taxi and brought it back to my house to play it on my Dreamcast. He and his mom have two dogs (a dachshund and a chihuahua, I learned later), so I waited out in the car while he got the games. Texted Kristy while I waited, lol.
We played videogames for a few hours, not just Crazy Taxi, but a couple of mine. A friend of his called while we were playing and invited us over but we decided not to go.
"She knows about me?"
"Uh yeah."
"So you've been talking about me, huh? It better have all been good." :)
"Well, I just told her I had this date."
"Right, right..."
So we're dating. Yay!
When the videogames got old, we went up and watched YouTube videos (I'd left Mozilla open on his channel, lol, and I was all, "Look! I found you! But it was too late to watch anything!"), including all seven on his channel. (I'm not gonna link tonight, but if you're really dedicated: I subscribed to him. Scavenger hunt, GO! Lol.) His friend called again and was freaking out about the lightning, so I opened the window but we couldn't see anything, so I killed the lamp and then we could see the lightning. It was neat! ^_^
When I noticed it was 11, we decided to call it a night, and he drove me back to my car, at Pizza Hut. OH--he also drives a Le Baron, lol, though it's blue, a couple of years older, and not a convertible, lol. He has an MP3 CD player in it though. But his driver's side door doesn't open, so we BOTH had to get in and out on the passenger side, lol. As we were sitting there, next to my car:
"So...you work tomorrow, but not Wednesday?"
"Yeah."
"You have...plans, Wednesday?"
"No, nothing planned."
"How about you call me this time?"
"Okay. What time?"
"After four-thirty...I can get calls at work, it's okay."
"OH, okay."
"Well, you know, so long as I don't, like, sit there and talk and talk and talk..."
"Yeah, yeah...so I'll see you Wednesday." *pause while I fumble for the door handle, then I get it* "I had fun tonight."
*pause, hesitation to leave the car* "Yeah, I did too." *smile and blush*
"...hug?"
"Sure."
^_^ Hugging in a car is awkward.
He smelled nice.
I'm trying not to overthink this (Nico said that this is probably a good, healthy step for me), but it's so damn hard to stop thinking about him. I'm so wired. I (clearly) don't want to sleep--I got to bed at almost six yesterday, and now it's already three.
I'm going to bed now. Can't guarantee sleep. The nervous butterflies of Sunday have given way to the fun kind. I was whistling Colbie Caillat's Bubbly at work today. I hadn't listened to it in days.
...oh, screw it. SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! ^_^
