I hate football.
Feb. 4th, 2008 11:11 amBut I went to April's Super Bowl party last night.
Yeah, I fail at football. They got (scored?) a touchdown and I was all, "Oh, was that good?" X3 (I thought the the ball had to go through the big t-thing at the end for it to count...like the hoop in basketball?) I did get points for recognizing Terry Bradshaw, but that's about it, lol. (Thank you, Failure to Launch and the old DigiBowls. Points to anyone who knows what I'm talking about on that last one.)
Kristy asked me who won this morning, and I couldn't tell her.
"You went to a Super Bowl party and don't know who won?"
"Um, apparently the team we weren't rooting for. I guess. Honestly I'd be doing well to tell you who PLAYED."
Even the commercials more or less sucked. There were some that were kinda "Meh, haha," but nothing that impressed me enough for me to even remember now. WTF? I thought they were, like, the best commercials of the year.
The brand-new, special-event episode of House (House: Frozen) that followed was FAR more interesting. ^_^ Which reminds me, I need to torrent download that series (I saw a lot of the first two seasons whilst in Canada and I <3 House--and yes, I mean the character), which reminds me, I DID torrent download the season premiere of LOST and OH EM GEE!!!
I won't post spoilers, but...OH EM GEE! (Shelly: Woulda called you, but it was getting close to 2 AM when I finished...we shall squee later.)
OH OH OH--Terry's going to sponsor me for Lions. Their board meeting is tomorrow, and that's when they approve applications, so I'm going to be a member by the meeting on Wednesday! ^_^
