So much for this being the first job where I didn't have to contend with another Sarah.

Okay, okay...so I knew there was one at the other office, and I kind of took one of her calls the first day in the new building...but we work in completely different departments. I kind of thought our paths wouldn't cross that much.

But nooooo, I just got informed by someone that I might start accidentally getting IMs intended for her. >_<

I really don't want to change my MSN display name to Strobel or Strobelite.

On a similar note, the sucky phones which are supposed to be all shiny but are really just confusing have failed to reset themselves for time change. XD I consider it justice for being one letter short of holding my full name and thereby reducing me to "S STROBEL."

$49 in bonuses this month? On my check that was only $2 short of being $600? HECKYEAH!

Though I just realized that they only pay out the bonuses once a month. I never paid any attention to it, I just figured if I didn't get a bonus check it was because I didn't set any demos (I have weeks like that...). Go me.

I'm thinking of hosting a Mary Kay party.

Actually, I'm 99% decided. I'm probably going to do it.

But I'm trying to figure out if not inviting my mother (because I know she won't fit in with my friends and I'd be on edge the whole time if she did come) makes me a horrible person or a well-adjusted adult with my own life to lead.

Probably not the latter if I'm thinking about it so hard.

ETA: I told my mom that my Mary Kay rep was trying to call her (to offer her a facial of her own) and Mom told me that she really didn't want to do a facial by herself, but if I had a party, she would come. >_< That helped.

In case any of you wonder why I get so happy about Halloween now, lol. I didn't have it as a kid, and this is more or less why.

Speaking of which--the pics from Halloween are up on my MySpace; I guess I need to post them here, too...later. Can't go to MySpace on the work computers for some reason. (Kristy says there's a way to hack around that but she hasn't told me what that way is...)
