So I've been chatting with Kristy in MSN pretty much every day at work, and usually about stupid stuff, lol, I'll admit it's totally not work-related.

The other day we were discussing my book collection, and rather than "Wow, you're a dork," she was actually pretty impressed. And I commented as such, and she told me, "Nah, you're not a dork. A geek maybe but not a dork." Then she goes, "What, you think you're the only one?"

Then it hit me.

I work for a software company. This is...geek home territory. James, a few cubes down, has his cube filled with Spiderman collectibles, there's a guy floating around who wore a full Darth Vader costume for Halloween last year (and was the only person to dress up), Kristy herself loves Boondock Saints and Hello Kitty (OMG, fellow fan!).

We talked a bit about the long list of movies I haven't seen, then I confessed...

Sarah says:
umm, let's see...on the other hand, I HAVE seen all the Lord of the Rings movies and actually own three different editions of each one because they all have different documentaries
Sarah says:
watched all of them too many times to count
Kristy says:
yeah LOR is pretty sweet

HA. I could get used to this.
