Saturday Night PLANS! ^_^

rena_librarianSo after spending the latter part of Thursday night with Jacqui saying "Stupid Duncan..." every time there was a lull in conversation, I called him again yesterday--right before work, thinking I'd get his voicemail.
And of course, as Murphy's Law goes, I actually got a hold of him that time. (Not that I wasn't pleased, lol.) I told him as much, lol--"Oh, HI! I figured I'd get your voicemail!" ^_^ I'm a total dork, lol.
Annnd...long story short: He and Robert have moved in with Robert's parents.
So now he's just over an hour away. >_< (He said an hour, google maps says an hour-and-half...lol. The way I drive, I bet it's an hour-fifteen.) On the bright side, he DOES have a job that he starts Monday. ^_^ And he said he'd be back this way on weekends...sooo...I don't know. This could have send me into a tailspin but I think I'm okay. It's not like he moved, say, back to Austin.
And really, it's not like we're to the point where I can ask him to take me into consideration in making his decisions.
I still invited him tonight, but until he starts getting the paychecks from that job, he really can't afford to make the drive.
Oh well. Me and Jacqui are going to have a good time at the concert and everyone's going to have a good time clubbing. ^_^ I'm FINALLY wearing the sexy scoopneck shirt I bought a YEAR ago--right before Mirielle was born. (Somehow I knew then that it would take a year, lol.) I may end up being overdressed, but I do that fairly often--bump into someone when I'm just running errands, and they'll ask me what I'm all dressed up for, lol. I guess I just prefer businessy/classy-looking clothes.
And...well...I'll get back with him eventually.
We should take pics tonight, but I don't know when they'll be available for posting--STILL not sure how to get pics from my phone, and Nico's computer is DEAD. *mourns* Then again Rackle will be there, so...I don't know. We shall see.
Tomorrow me and Jacqui are going to lunch with my parents, for Mother's Day--her mom is out of town, lol. So yay. A good reason not to get TOO drunk tonight, lol. (That and drinks are $6 apiece!!)
So anyway. I need to stop typing, finish straightening my hair, and do a load of laundry. Later peeps!
