The Controversial Survey
1. Would you do meth if it was legalized? No, that shit is dangerous. And I can barely afford to feed my LotR obsession, what makes you think I could afford an addiction like that?
2. Abortion: for or against? Against, in all cases. Yes, even rape. (Though in that case the woman should get free prenatal care and assistance with placing the child for adoption if she doesn't want it--and I think that'd be the vast majority of cases.) Also anyone who performs any kind of home abortion should be tried for full-on murder.
3. Would our country fall with a woman president? No, I think it'd be in much better shape. Hard to screw up worse than what we have now.
4. Do you believe in the death penalty? No. I believe that people who are currently under the death penalty should be forced to do hard labor and live in barely-livable conditions. Just a cot in a cell, bread and water to eat. Maybe if people actually suffered instead of getting sent off to an institution to watch cable for 10-15 years and then get a shot and go to (permanent) sleep, it would be a deterrent to crime. Also, think of the money the government could save on paying people to do hard labor. Also, they would have time to apply for appeals without death looming over their heads, because sometimes innocent people really do get sent to death row.
5. Do you wish marijuana would be legalized already? Only if the same bill made tobacco illegal. Marijuana a brain-trashing habit, but people are going to keep doing it. At least it only makes them stupid, it doesn't give them lung cancer. If people want t rot their brains, I certainly don't care.

7. Do you think its wrong that so many Hispanics are moving to the USA? No, so long as they do it legally anyway, but I DO think it's wrong that we're now pandering to them and labeling everything in Spanish. 8. A 12-year-old girl has a baby...should she keep it? I don't think so. If she wants to be in its life, perhaps her parents could raise it? But adoption would probably be the best thing.
9. Should the alcohol age be lowered to 18? Hmm. Yeah, if you're supposed to be smart enough to do everything else at 18 (vote, marry, etc), why not? I DO think the age to go into the military should be raised to 21, though.

12. Do you believe in spanking your children? Ehh. I got spanked. I turned out okay. This is one of the reasons I don't want kids, I never have to decide!

I like Tab's answer--doesn't EVERY mother have fits of temporary instanity, especially with multiple kids, and doubly especially if they're really young? Where does this one get off? No way should she get off on this! If she's insane, she should at least be locked away in a facility for the criminally insane.

1. Would you do meth if it was legalized? No, that shit is dangerous. And I can barely afford to feed my LotR obsession, what makes you think I could afford an addiction like that?
2. Abortion: for or against? Against, in all cases. Yes, even rape. (Though in that case the woman should get free prenatal care and assistance with placing the child for adoption if she doesn't want it--and I think that'd be the vast majority of cases.) Also anyone who performs any kind of home abortion should be tried for full-on murder.
3. Would our country fall with a woman president? No, I think it'd be in much better shape. Hard to screw up worse than what we have now.
4. Do you believe in the death penalty? No. I believe that people who are currently under the death penalty should be forced to do hard labor and live in barely-livable conditions. Just a cot in a cell, bread and water to eat. Maybe if people actually suffered instead of getting sent off to an institution to watch cable for 10-15 years and then get a shot and go to (permanent) sleep, it would be a deterrent to crime. Also, think of the money the government could save on paying people to do hard labor. Also, they would have time to apply for appeals without death looming over their heads, because sometimes innocent people really do get sent to death row.
5. Do you wish marijuana would be legalized already? Only if the same bill made tobacco illegal. Marijuana a brain-trashing habit, but people are going to keep doing it. At least it only makes them stupid, it doesn't give them lung cancer. If people want t rot their brains, I certainly don't care.
