BTW...
I replaced my old, falling-apart baby-name-book (I keep it around to help me name story characters) with a new one a while back, but never really got to dig through the new one until Alicia asked for name help. In digging around for her, I found out some interesting stuff...
Aubrey, Luella, Alfreda, and Alvina are all archaic names that have a meaning something like "elf friend" or "elf counselor." Mayhap Tolkien was onto something, if that worked its way into our language.
Sayid means HAPPY. Oh, the IRONY.
In the same bent, in Korean, "Sun" means "obedient." (Oooh...plot bunny! OMG!)
Michele probably already knows this, but Michele means "Who is like the Lord?" and "Renee" means "born again"...so the question answers itself. (Ooooh...that felt deep.)
Rena is a Hebrew name that means "song; joy." ^_^ I like that!
Last but not least...Orlando (come on, admit it, now you're curious) means (again, the irony)...get this..."famous throughout the land." XDDDDD And to top that off, Orli means "my light."
*has died just cracking up at the inherent irony*
