Maddy's so cute!

My niece Maddy (four-and-a-half) started ballet class yesterday! Teeheehee.

C/p'd from her mommy:

it's not that impressive of a web site - but it's christian dance place - so that's way cool.  maybe i can get them to take maddy's pic and put it on there!!!

today was her first class and she was WAY excited.  pretty much just stood there like a bump on a log for the ballet part, then warmed up for the tumbling half.  weird - i wouldv'e thought it might be the other way around - go figure.  at any rate - she was a cutie.

Teeheehee.

This is the website of the place she mentioned.

Lol. I would have loved it at that age; I grew out of it.

She's very, very, very girly. She'll adore it. She may actually grow up and have the figure and keep up with it; be a gymnast or a dancer.

I hope she does, I wish I could have kept up with it. Ballet dancing is the only kind I can tolerate.

Really? No waltzing, no tap, no breakdancing?

Do you mean to DO it or to WATCH it?

To do it. I love standing en pointe.

Can you still do that? Because you can't, like, do that until you're, like, 12, right? Something to do with how your bones develop, right?

I can go en pointe, yes. You can't start till your 12 but I don't know why.
