I've been craving cupcakes and brownies here lately, actually. And I have everything to make cupcakes but milk. Here lately we've thrown out a lot of sour milk because we're just not finishing it. We even switched to half-gallons. =/

I think we're at least going to cut down to quarts, but hmm...wonder where they sell the single-serving ones? I'll have to check next time we go grocery shopping and see if they have them at Walmart.

They actually might at that there. My brother family goes through at least a gallon a week. Must be a genetic thing.

Actually my brother literally cannot figure out how to eat breakfast if there's no milk in the house. Just wanders between the pantry/fridge like a lost puppy. It's somewhere between cute and really pathetic lol.

We used to go through a gallon a week until hubby started hardcore dieting. I drink it, but a lot of the usage would go into cheesy varieties of Hamburger Helper, which I'm not making as often because it's high in calories (which he's counting). So yeah. I often had this problem when I was single, as well and had switched to half-gallons then, too.

The answer for your brother is obviously to have hashbrowns for breakfast, lol. They can totally go in the microwave. =)
