huh

I'll post pics from last night as soon as I'm A) home AND B) awake enough to care. Last night was the third night in a row that I went to sleep around 3-3:30. Night before last I supplemented that with a 4-5 hour nap (I honestly can't remember when I fell asleep), but it's still not enough. My own damn fault, admittedly, but yargh. Looking forward to the weekend--Nico is off Friday through Monday, and we have agreed to spend the weekend in PJ's on the couch watching movies. (BTW, Shelly, Nico is ripping through Lost so fast that he and I are actually going to watch the finale together. It'd be better with you, because you would hold my hand as Charlie dies and not LAUGH like he probably will, but at least I'm finally going to watch it.)

Anyway, Kristy and I are chatting in MSN to keep ourselves awake and we were comparing fast food nightmares, but then I got started on how awesome Nico is now that I don't actually work there anymore.

we used to get into an argument every couple of weeks, but since I've quit it's been smooth sailing, lol

I never thought of it until today, but it is so true. Am I right, Nico? I mean, of course we bicker--it's what we DO--but I don't think there's been any actual hurt feelings.

another thing that rocks about my job

I'm getting partial credit and full bonus for demos I'm not even setting.

Part of Ashley's job is to market to SASI customers (SASI being a general student info system that we can interface with) in every state. As such, sometimes she sets demos in "my" states (Illinois, anyway, Indiana is tough). I just found out this week, when Terry tried to ask me about one of them and I didn't know what he was talking about, that Ashley has been told to put my initials on them as well, and I'm getting the bonuses for these. (Don't worry, I asked Terry, and Ashley and I are both getting a full bonus, so I'm not taking something that's rightfully hers.)

"Terry, mind you, I'm not complaining, but why are you giving me the bonus for that?"
"Because we're making such progress in Illinois and that's mostly your doing, so I thought since it was your state you deserved the benefit from your hard work."

Sweet.
