I'm glad that Kurt and Brittany are still friends; the girl just doesn't have a mean bone in her body.
Quinn is on crack. I'm glad Mr. Schue yelled at her, he was completely right, that's everything I've wanted to say to her...basically since she started cheating on Sam with Finn. And full custody? It'd be one thing if Shelby was a foster mom, but I'm pretty sure there is no fucking legal way to just undo an adoption. At all. And even if there were, they're not going to do it for a teenager. I do wish that they could've asked her to clean up her act (quit the smoking and the attitude and rejoin Glee, generally stop being self-destructive) without forcing her to change her look back; I know several great moms with tattoos and/or piercings and/or who have, or have had, crazy hair colors. I have seen more out on the internet. I don't like the idea that they're pushing, that a good parent has to look a certain way.
Puck. I got teary when he almost held Beth and then didn't. Mark Salling, not only has your character grown, but you've grown as an actor.
Finn. You have essentially nine months to figure out the next step. I'm sure you're never going to be one of those people with the rest of your life planned out, but yeah. And if you have no interest in going to New York, then you should tell Rachel sooner rather than later, because she's starting to plot ways to take you with her.
Rachel. Your mom is kind of awesome. She can't really be Your Mom but it won't hurt you to have a friendship with her.
Artie's crack about wanting to give a standing ovation was funny and then OH WAIT NOT FUNNY. Whatever happened to his ReWalk from the Christmas episode?
Blaine. Well, the spoilers had it, he's a junior. Fanon spent most of last week wanking about it, and the non-rage-making headcanon that tumblr conceived, and that I am subscribing to until Jossed, is this: Blaine was hurt so bad at the Sadie Hawkins that he was in the hospital and then either missed a lot of school/failed a grade/both, and/or some of his Dalton credits wouldn't transfer and he hadn't been there long enough to build up enough credits to equate, so he's still Kurt's age or older (at this point I'm thinking same year with Blaine's birthday a few months earlier than Kurt's), but is a year behind in school.
(Because seriously, in what world could this guy pass for fifteen?)
That needs to be an acronym, by the way: HUJ, Headcanon Until Jossed. XD
And finally, Kurt. I spent most of the time he was on screen going "Oh honey. Poor baby. You need a hug, let me hug you." Despite the fact that I developed a scaffolding kink tonight, that song was...pretty obviously not the best choice for landing a Studly Alpha Male Romantic Lead Role. I'm not a theater person and even I could tell you that. And then him overhearing them discussing him. Sigh. And his scene with Rachel was just...gaaaaaah awkward, even I was trying not to laugh because you could tell he was really, really trying--hello, lower voice, haven't heard you since the last time Kurt was super awkwardly trying to pass for straight...there's a reason for that, by the way--but...oh, baby. No.
(His period outfit, though? With the season one hair? Adorbz.)
I loved that he got yelled at for "Jazz hands!" and it meant stop doing them, not do them better. XD
And Blaine's audition--ugh this is going to be difficult for them, but in the kind of way that makes them stronger, hopefully. I really think that Kurt will be able to see that Blaine deserves the role, the spotlight, and it's not like they're taking it away from him to give it to Blaine--he's not going to get it in any case, so he really needs to support Blaine going for it. You could tell that Kurt was really, really proud of how well Blaine's song went so we know he's not completely resentful and bitter.
And, well, there's already a spoiler pic out for next week and I've already said what I think is going to happen with that here. Basically I'm okay with them having a bit of a fight if what I said in that thread happens.
And hello, 2 AM, have to work. Dammit, didn't get any writing done because of Glee. Oh well, that's what the rest of the week is for, right?
